Hello and happy Monday! Well, I hope it's a happy Monday. How was your weekend? I've got to admit, the last 4 weeks particularly of my life have caught up to me and I slept a lot this weekend, I guess I needed it.

I thought I'd share an artist that I first came to see at Paddington Markets a few weeks ago. *side note - if you're in Sydney or even close, Paddington Markets are definitely worth the trip.* My friend and I stopped by the stall of Samantha Robinson and I was just blown away. It even took a while before we could get close enough to have a good look at everything, and really, her work is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Don't believe me? Chunky Knitted Scarf

I've knitted this scarf so many times I can't remember, in various versions for friends. This is another gift for a friend. It's a really easy pattern, literally plain and purl, it's just remembering what row you are up to, and counting which stitch. I think it looks really effective, and it's a lovely warm scarf. I love this red wool, it's Patons Zhivago, which has a beautiful soft and silky feel to it. The pattern is right here if you're interested.
