Is anyone else getting excited about Christmas? This year I am determined to be better than last year! I'd just started a new job and life was insane - I think I was lucky to actually get a tree up. This year I feel more organised, I'm starting to think about it and looking forward to it.
Today I had a look a look at Anthropologie at some of their Christmas decor. So, so much that I'd like! What do you love?

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was filled with lots of time with friends which just makes everything better.
Thought I'd start this week with some lovely tea towels. I found out about To Dry For via Holly at Decor8, and now I want to go shopping mad. I really love tea towels, especially since I don't have a dishwasher and so I actually need them. I probably don't need as many as I'd likle to go and buy though, so perhaps all my friends are now about to get hit with tea towels for Christmas presents! And the bonus....they ship worldwide!

I can see myself buying the Hey Miss or Hey Lady cards for my girlfriends; it's such a lovely invitation to an afternoon tea or picnic on a sunny day.

Is anyone else loving the plethora of typewriter inspired wares there are at the moment? On everything from T-Shirts, to jewellery to magnets - plus of course the gorgeous vintage pastel coloured typewriters that are coming out of their hiding spots.
Does it make you just want to sit and type out you amazing life story, or a letter to that boy you like or, like me, even just the shopping list? Gosh, I even love the fact when typing on my iPhone it sounds like a typewriter!
I have to show this first - my favourite so far. If only I had the money for it, so someone - please buy it and give it a good home!

After seeing the beautiful images Jillian Leiboff had taken of Donna Hay's General Store, I finally got to Woollhara to have little look for myself. My friend Brett and I decided to make a day of it, so we started with brunch at Bills, I've not been to his Woollhara restaurant, so now I don't know which I like better of the three!
We then wandered down the street to Donna's store. I've never been to Woollhara and now I'm desperately wishing I could live there, it's like a gorgeous little village. Just so lovely.

We were also fortunate enough to actually meet Donna who was in the store that day. She is absolutely delightful, and we chatted to her for about half an hour. Was the highlight of my day! I think I learned so much in visiting her store about building a brand. You can look at a font or some colours (blue + brown) and immediately think Donna Hay. I'm definitely going to use that to look at my branding.
We then finished up a perfect Sunday with cupcakes and champagne at Sparkle Cupcakery, oh yum!

I'm back from the mountains. Oh gosh, I could move there!! I adore autumn at the best of times. When it's up in the beautiful Blue Mountains with the crisp air, warm sunshine and gorgeous colours - well, I'm just in heaven.
I thought I'd show you some of my favourite things I saw in some of the little shops up there. If only I had limitless cash I could have an incredibly good shopping spree! Instead, I had to be content with window shopping, and adding a few things to the list of 'things I must have in my home to make my life better' I have in my head.
I absolutely adore the pears. They are actually a bit more lime green, but it's hard to get the right colour when you're trying to secretly take a photo before you get caught! They're a bit pricey but I want to do some lime green colours in the house for spring/summer, so I think they might be worth it.

I discovered print*pattern*paper this week, and oh my, I'm glad I did! A beautiful collection of handmade eco friendly art, textiles and stationery. Just a little mosey around this website makes me smile.

So, our wise (*cough cough*) Prime Minister has decided the best way to save our country from recession is to plunge us about $60billion into debt by handing out $900 to every tax payer, his amazing economic stimulus package. Yea.... that'll work. Anyway, this blog isn't about fiscal policy or politics, it is about all things lovely, so I'm going to take my $900 and stimulate the economy with these gorgeous Ugg boots. It's starting to get much cooler here, and after I saw a friend wearing hers tonight, I decided I just had to have them. And... if I'm saving the economy, well that's just a sacrifice I have to make!
Aren't they just so pretty? And they are really high so you can wear them lots of different ways.
So, now just to work out what to do with my remaining $750....

Jill Rosenwald's Etsy shop has been the featured seller, and not hard to see why. Everything just looks so beautiful, not to mention the gorgeous colours just making me feel so calm, which I really need at the moment. I also really love her product photography - something I need to get better at.

I made the mistake of checking out the Anthropolgie website tonight. Big mistake since they don't ship to Australia, and our dollar is woeful so everything is quite pricey now. But, oh goodness, how cute are these?!
