Happy Monday! Today is a public holiday in Australia to celebrate the Queen's birthday, so, in honour of Her Majesty, and the fact I'll be finally visiting the motherand in Setpember, here' some of my favourite images of England.

I've always been a big fan of the work of Jesica Rose from Vol25 fame. I have a few of her prints in my home, and on my photo wall, but her new vintage inspired science posters have made me really excited!
I'm planning a big new redo of my lounge room, taking away some of the frilly girliness, and changing it to a bit more industrial vibe. One of these posters will fit right in.
I'm struggling to pick my favourite, but I think it's the top butterflies one. What's your favourite?

Well...happy new year! In March! I have recently become more inspired to get back to enjoying and living out my creativity, and along with that comes blogging, so hopefully I can find some interesting things to share with you all.
I'm sure many of you will have seen around blogland and Instagram, the brilliant brain child of Chantelle at Fat Mum Slim, her Photo A Day Challenge. I watched this unfold all last year over on Instagram and her blog, and didn't get involved, so decided as of January 1 this year, I was in.
I tried a photo a day challenge last year but really lost interest around February. I think the difference with this is the prompts that Chantelle gives at the beginning of each month, as well as the awesome community that's been built around it. So far I've not missed a day, and I'm really hoping to make a photo book at the end of year to sum up in pictures my 2013.

I am such a fan of hand lettering. While I have really neat handwriting, calligraphy is one of those thing I've not been able to master, So my appreciation is huge for those who are overflowing with talent in this area. Here's a few of my favourites from my Pinterest boards.

Happy Friday! I'm glad to see the beginning of the weekend coming, this week has been a long and hard one.
I thought I'd share a beautiful verse that the Pastor of my church is speaking over us for this year. I think it's beautiful and I love the truth in it.

I was fortunate enough to get to go to the Finders Keepers markets on Friday night, held only twice a year in The Carriageworks, in Sydney's Eveleigh. This two day event is truly food for the soul.
I didn't go too crazy, this is my small stash of shopping. Fortunately most stalls are cash only which helps reign it in. :)

My love of letterpress runs deep. These letterpressed bookmarks and card, as well as the card below are both from Bespoke Letterpress Boutique. I stayed at their stall for a long time, there was just way too many beautiful card, tags, envelopes and other eye candy.
If you're in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane do try and make it along. They really are just amazing.

I have so many things to share with you all that I did to my home on my little blogging hiatus. One of my most favourite is this picture wall I put up in my lounge room.
This was about 12 months worth of hunting down and collecting exactly the right pictures. Without even noticing, I really stayed with the pastel pinks and aquas, and somehow it came together.
Normally I like things very symmetrical (it's the accountant in me) but for this I wanted it to kind of just get slapped up on the wall in a random display so I could keep adding to it, which I have. It also makes it easier to not be too precious that everything is lined up!
I love every single one of these pictures all for different reasons. I think this is one of my favourite places in the house.

Hello! Oh my goodness. I've been away from this blog for 18 months, and am amazed to see people still leaving such lovely comments. I figured I should at least try and start posting again.
So...how huge has Pinterest become in the last year or so? Of course I'm on there, wasting so much time but I get so inspired and want to make everything! Do you have the same problem? If you want to follow my boards you can find me here.

Happy Monday! Well, Monday is almost over for me thank goodness, but happy Monday none the less. It's going to be a pretty big week for me this week, so not sure if I'll be around much. My work runs an annual Colour Your World Conference, which starts this Thursday so I'll be at that, I can't wait! Lots of girliness, creativity and fun.
Anyway, I stumbled upon this loveliness recently, so thought I'd let you see it as well. Aren't these pictures by Marmee Craft just delightful? I like a bit of whimsy every now and then.

Today is Australia Day, and days like this make me so happy to be Australian. We really are the 'lucky country' in so many ways. Lots of space, amazing weather, stunning beaches and the coolest people on earth, so happy Australia Day to my Aussie friends.
Anyway, in honour of this day that we get off work to basically do nothing but have a BBQ with friends and hang at the beach being 'straylian I thought I would do a round up of some of my favourite little Aussie Etsy shops. Ready? Here we go.
