It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like An Anthropologie Christmas

Is anyone else getting excited about Christmas? This year I am determined to be better than last year! I'd just started a new job and life was insane - I think I was lucky to actually get a tree up. This year I feel more organised, I'm starting to think about it and looking forward to it.

 
Today I had a look a look at Anthropologie at some of their Christmas decor. So, so much that I'd like! What do you love?

To Dry For

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was filled with lots of time with friends which just makes everything better.

Thought I'd start this week with some lovely tea towels. I found out about To Dry For via Holly at Decor8, and now I want to go shopping mad. I really love tea towels, especially since I don't have a dishwasher and so I actually need them. I probably don't need as many as I'd likle to go and buy though, so perhaps all my friends are now about to get hit with tea towels for Christmas presents! And the bonus....they ship worldwide!

2010 Calendars & Diaries

OK, is it freaking anyone else out that 2010 diaries and calendars are out in stores, not to mention Christmas decorations?

Well, I plan to get organised early - I'm thinking gorgeous calendars for friends for Christmas this year because I love the one I bought last year so much. Anyway, to help you if you want to get in early, here's my favourites so far.

Typewriter Love

Is anyone else loving the plethora of typewriter inspired wares there are at the moment? On everything from T-Shirts, to jewellery to magnets - plus of course the gorgeous vintage pastel coloured typewriters that are coming out of their hiding spots.

Does it make you just want to sit and type out you amazing life story, or a letter to that boy you like or, like me, even just the shopping list? Gosh, I even love the fact when typing on my iPhone it sounds like a typewriter!

I have to show this first - my favourite so far. If only I had the money for it, so someone - please buy it and give it a good home!

I absolutely adore interiors shops, as do most of you I'm guessing since this is a bit of a design and homey blog!!

I was thinking of possibly getting some kind of armchair for my studio. When I'm doing lots of sewing I like to sit in a comfy chair to pin stuff together and do all the fiddly things. I don't particularly want to spend much, so I was thinking perhaps this would be perfect, the Lillberg chair from Ikea. Can anyone tell me if they're comfy at all?

I would probably paint it white, not sure if I would redo the covers or not, but I do know that I want this cushion to go on it! I am seriously so in love with it! And lucky for me, and you Decor8 has a discount code for it! YAY! I'm thinking it will be my present to myself, since I finish up at my job today.

New Amy Butler Dinnerware

Did you know Amy Butler has a range of dinnerware? I had no idea until I was looking around her site for fabric.

 

It's made by Mikasa so I'm hoping they will release it in Australia, as to ship it from the US would cost a fortune.

 

I think it's just lovely, might have to go on the wishlist for a little while though.
